Barbecue With Me :: Barbecue Recipes Articles
We call them barbecue recipes when they really are grill recipes as barbecue is a slow method of cooking at a low temperature sometimes taking as long as 6 hours to get the fire correct and then 12 hours cooking in the pit!
My barbecue recipes will usually take ten to twenty minutes to prepare and then at the most one hour on the grill. Time enough to have one or two ice cold beverages and talk about your day. Being a believer in home cooking, and not fast food other then apples and oranges, and real utensils and cloth napkins most of my barbecue recipes will easily fit into your school, and work night schedule.
You may have time for real barbecue recipes on the weekend or during your vacation! But after working all day and with the commute many of us do, spending two to three hours cooking a meal would drive many of us to the local fast food restaurant or how about a bowl of cereal? It's cool! All of my work day barbecue recipes are based on a gas grill so if you have a charcoal grill it will be necessary to fire up your grill earlier.
