When planning your backyard barbecue parties make sure you have enough sun and shelter for the amount of guests invited. Summer storms happen in most places of the country and it is not much fun hanging out in the intense sun. If you do not have enough trees to supply shade for your backyard barbecue party then you can pick from canopies, umbrellas, sail clothes or patio awnings. It all depends on the size you need for most of your entertaining. If you only have a big party once a year you can rent a large canopy at that time or plan on your guests piling into your house should it rain.
